Cedar Creek Furnace

Cedar Creed Furnace (also known as Cedar Grove Furnace)
is located on the east side of the Tennessee River in Perry County.
Take Hwy 412 from Parson or Decaturville across the river.

Exit off 412 onto Cypress Creek Road.
It turns into Blunts Landing Road,
which turns into Marsh Creek Road.
Turn right on Cedar Creek Road.
Follow it through the boonies, always bearing left.
When you come to a Y, bear left.
The furnace has a little park with a nice pavillion;
however, the historical marker has been stolen
(according to a local man who lived up the road).

The smoke house and back porch off the kitchen

Sulfur springs house, not as stinky as last time

Really great layout for a home
sort of like the Waltons' only smaller
love the retaining wall around the front yard
